3. Freelance work permit, or Sole Proprietor License.

The client to provide:

• Company name (3 options);
• Corporate structure (shareholders, director, general manager);
• Activities – some activities. require approval of the relevant regulatory authority.

Required documents (individual shareholder):

• Shareholder’s passport copy (valid for min 6 months), UAE visa and Emirates ID (if applicable);
• General manager’s passport copy (valid for min 6 months), UAE visa and Emirates ID (if applicable);
• Business plan;
• Signed application forms;
• Health insurance;
• Shareholder’s and manager’s passport-type photo 3.5 x 4.5 on white background;
• Personal details: telephone number, email address, residential address, country of residence, parent’s names, marital status, religion.

For the corporate shareholder, a set of the company’s registration documents should be provided (notarized and attested).

The documents and information are submitted via the twofour54 free zone portal.

The following documents will be issued by the authority upon successful registration:

• Business License (renewed every 2 years);
• Share Certificate;
• Certificate of Incorporation;
• Memorandum of Association;
• Flexi-Desk/Office Rental Agreement (valid for 1 year).
